Kaumarbhritya is very interesting subject which is also called as Ayurvedic Paediatrics. This branch deals with the Ayurvedic point of view of Child health. Children are not small adults as they are in continuous process of growth and development. Thus their diseases, and management of those diseases is far more different that the adults. Ayurvedic paediatrics has some fascinating strength areas such as Suvarnaprashana, Balapanchakarma which proves the uniqueness and importance of the branch amongst the other seven branches of Ayurveda. The subject is not only concerned with child health care but also suprajanana. The subject faculty of Kaumarbhritya dept., S.S.A.C are always taking continuous efforts to enhance the subject interest in students and increase the propagation of knowledge regarding Ayurvedic Paediatrics.

Department of Kaumarbhritya has two members which consist of one Professor and one Assistant Professor. The faculty members are always in efforts of giving best teaching through the effective use of audio- visual aids like power point presentations and by collecting the information from various sources.
